Duties : Assist the Human Resources Manager process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence. Compile and retain personnel records. Analyze, verify, and maintain documentation with respect to staffing specific contracts. Assist in the recruitment functions, including advertising in various media and screening applications according to company policy and contract requirements. Document and explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants. Review and analyze contracts to determine the jobs required to staff them. Create and maintain job descriptions and requirements. Assess optimal sourcing of candidates and assist in the implementation of recruitment strategies.
Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related area and 2 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related human resources occupation. Experience must include: experience handling various human resources functions, including recruiting, compensation, benefits, and employee relations; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to establish and develop productive relationships and work as a team player; excellent organizational, administrative, and computer skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and employees; ability to take initiative, establish priorities, make sound decisions, and multi-task; experience with MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
